These terms apply to theollieproject.sadnuggie.com, which is run by Sad Nuggie Ltd. By using this site, enrolling a classroom or adopting for one, you agree to these terms.
1. What The Ollie Project is
The Ollie Project is a give-back program run by Sad Nuggie Ltd., a for-profit company. It is not a charity. Adoptions are purchases of physical Sad Nuggie products that are fulfilled to participating classrooms. They are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible.
2. Enrolling a classroom
- You must be an adult teacher, educator or group leader with the authority to accept items for the classroom or group you enroll.
- The information you give us must be accurate. We review every application, approval is not guaranteed, and we may reject, pause or remove any campaign at our discretion, including if information turns out to be inaccurate.
- Enrolling is free. You will never be asked to pay.
- We cannot currently enroll classrooms in the United States.
- Campaign goals are capped at 50 Nuggies, and we confirm the Nuggie size when we approve a campaign.
- By enrolling, you agree that your campaign title, story, school or group name, general location and campaign image can be shown publicly.
- You must have permission to use any image you provide, and images must not show identifiable students without permission from their parents or guardians.
3. Adopting for a classroom
Adoptions are completed through the Sad Nuggie store checkout. The store's terms apply to your purchase, except that this section governs how adoptions are fulfilled and takes priority over the store's refund policy where the two differ.
Nuggies you adopt are shipped to the classroom, not to you. A campaign stays open until it reaches its goal or we close it. Either way, every Nuggie adopted for that campaign ships to that classroom.
If a classroom can no longer receive its Nuggies, for example because the program has ended or the address can't accept delivery, we will send them to another classroom instead.
Because every adoption is fulfilled to a classroom, adoptions are not refundable.
4. The Sad Nuggie Classroom Fund
$1 from every Sad Nuggie adopted through The Ollie Project goes into the Sad Nuggie Classroom Fund, which we use to support classrooms with Nuggies, supplies and comfort items. We decide how the fund is allocated.
5. Content
All content on this site, including the Sad Nuggie name, characters and artwork, belongs to Sad Nuggie Ltd. Stories and images submitted by teachers remain theirs. By submitting them, you give us permission to display them on this site and in posts promoting your campaign.
6. Liability
We provide this site as it is. To the extent the law allows, Sad Nuggie Ltd. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Questions: customercare@sadnuggie.com.
