The Ollie Project (theollieproject.sadnuggie.com) is run by Sad Nuggie Ltd., a Canadian company. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
1. What we collect
If you enroll a classroom, we collect your name, phone number, contact email and your role, the school or group name, the school website and school email if you give them, the school address, the shipping address, and what you tell us about your classroom.
If you adopt for a classroom, your purchase is completed through the Sad Nuggie store checkout, which is powered by Shopify. We receive the order details needed to credit your adoption to the right classroom. Your payment details are handled by Shopify and never reach this website.
If you contact us, we collect whatever you include in your message.
2. How we use it
We use this information to review and approve enrollment applications, to contact you about your application or campaign, to ship Nuggies to your classroom, to credit adoptions and show campaign progress, and to keep the program running safely and prevent misuse.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use enrollment details for marketing unless you have separately agreed to hear from us.
3. What is shown publicly
When a campaign is approved, some of its information appears publicly on this site:
- the campaign title and story
- the school or group name
- the city, region and country
- the campaign image
- its progress
Your phone number, email addresses and street addresses are never shown publicly.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run this site, including our hosting and database providers and Shopify for checkout, and with shipping carriers, who receive the shipping address and phone number needed to deliver. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
5. Where it is stored
Our service providers may store information on servers outside your country, including in Canada and the United States.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enrollment information for as long as your campaign is active, and afterwards for as long as we need it to handle shipping, answer questions and meet our legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those obligations.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can withdraw your consent. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you also have rights under data protection law, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Children
This site is for adults: teachers, educators and supporters. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Campaign images must not show identifiable students without permission from their parents or guardians.
