Two sides to this. Teachers enroll a classroom, supporters adopt the Nuggies that fill it. Here's the whole thing, start to finish.
No. Not a cent, ever. The Nuggies are funded entirely by supporters adopting them. You will never be asked for payment or shipping costs.
Not quite. Supporters adopt a Nuggie the same way they would any other Sad Nuggie, and that adoption is assigned to a classroom instead of shipping to them. On top of that, $1 from every Sad Nuggie adopted goes into our Classroom Fund, which helps us support classrooms with supplies and comfort tools where they're needed most.
Teachers, educators and group leaders anywhere in the world except the United States. It does not have to be a traditional school. After-school programs, libraries, homeschool groups and adult learning classes are all welcome.
We ship from Canada, and current US import rules mean a classroom there would be hit with unexpected customs charges on delivery. We are not willing to put that on a teacher. Supporters in the USA can still adopt for a classroom anywhere else in the world.
